クラシックの名曲やヨーロッパの民謡に新しいアレンジを施し、個性を生かした“ア・カペラ”のスタイルで時代を超えた世界観を創り出している女声４人のグループ。　　　　

２００１年デビュー以来、アレンジャー書上奈朋子のもと11枚のＣＤをリリースし、多くのＴＶ，ラジオ、ＣＭ等に取り上げられる。

これまでに全国各地でのコンサートに加え、近年では海外で活動する機会に恵まれ、２００６年に韓国や香港で成功を収めたのを皮切りに、ヨーロッパでは2008年5月にドイツ･ライプツイヒで行われたア・カペラフェスティバルに日本人として初めて出演し絶賛を受け、現地の教会や、クラシックの殿堂ゲバントハウスでのコンサートの模様がドイツ国営放送で紹介された。

翌年の２００９年にはイタリアのロンバルディア州で行われたコーラスフェスティバルに出演、２０１０年には再び韓国でのインターナショナルアカペラフェスティバル、そして、２０１６年にはアメリカのワシントンD.C.で開催されたインターナショナルコーラスフェスティバルに出演し現地新聞ワシントンポストにも紹介されるなど海外にも活動の幅を広げている。

最近では、歌い繋ぎたい日本の名曲にも精力的に取り組んでいる。

Ensemble Planeta (アンサンブルプラネタ), is a Japanese all female a cappella group. Known for their performance of the works of Bach,... Chopin, Schubert and other classical composers and traditional European folk music. The group was formed by Nahoko Kakiage, the recognized creator of classical crossover style of music in Japan.

Performances:
They have also made TV/CM appearances over the years such as the TV commercial for pharmaceutical company ARAX’s Norshin. They also sung the theme song for the Spanish movie El Viaje De Carol and performed the soundtrack for the Studio Ghibli animation movie Taneyamagahara No Yoru. They are also constantly touring, playing concert halls all across Japan as well as performances in Korea and Hong Kong.
The first European appearance was Germany in 2008. The group performed at the International Festival for Vocal Music "a cappella" of Leipzig.
One year later the group came back to Europe, in Italy. The performance at the international choral festival "La Fabbrica del canto" enchanted the Italian audience.
In June of 2016, the Ensemble Planēta took part at the world famous Serenade choral festival held in Washington DC. The group obtained an huge success from the American Audience.
